CRN Continuing Education, Inc.
Introduction
CRN Continuing Education, Inc. (CRN CE) is a sister company to the Coding & Reimbursement Network, Inc. and its mission is to provide quality economical seminars to medical billing and coding professionals via innovative easy to use methods.
The CRN CE is managed by CEO Laureen Jandroep, OTR, CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H, CCS and President Barbara J. Cobuzzi, CPC, CHMBE, CPC-H. Laureen and Barbara know what it is like to have to maintain credentials in this industry and recognize the need for a low cost alternative to staying current in the field while earning CEU credit.
As presenters for other teleconference companies they also recognized that the experts in this field are not getting their fair share for providing rich and useful content. With the unique revenue sharing concept we hope to attract the best talent and offer it at the lowest price.

Roles
The model for delivering 60-90 minute seminars at a low cost is to revenue share. If you are involved in the CRN CE you have one or more of the following roles.
Participant
CRN CE participants are usually certified individuals in the medical billing and coding industry that need to stay current. They also need to satisfy CEU requirements set by the credentialing body. The CRN CE seminars are pre-approved CEU programs by various organizations such as the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Healthcare Information Association (AHIMA), the Professional Association of Healthcare Coding Specialists (PAHCS), the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM), and many more. To get your CEU certificate you will be directed to a web page where you will enter your registration code and answer a few questions in addition to providing feedback on the seminar you participated in. You will be presented with a certificate you can print and keep on file. To be put on our mailing list to be notified of upcoming seminars please click here.
Speaker
Speakers are the life blood of this enterprise. Without quality speakers the CRN CE would not exist. Laureen and Barbara feel that speakers should be compensated more fairly than prevailing methods allow. Often times a speaker will spend hours preparing a presentation and compiling handouts only to receive minimal compensation. It is often times the popularity of the speaker and their known expertise in the field that will bring in large numbers of registrations. The CRN CE feels their speakers should be compensated for this and offer a generous 20% of each sale. To learn more about becoming a speaker for the CRN CE e-mail Barbara@crn-ce.com.
Affiliate
CRN CE affiliates can be individuals or companies that have contacts in the medical billing and coding industry. They tell others about upcoming seminars by sending e-mails to their own private lists, including flyers in direct mail campaigns they are already sending out and various other methods approved by the CRN CE management. For their efforts they receive 20% of each sale that registers due to their efforts. The CRN CE has an efficient and easy to use interface for tracking affiliate sales.
